Data protection
Privacy policy
How VADIMPEX Handels GmbH handles personal data, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Datenschutzgesetz.
- Who is responsible
- VADIMPEX Handelsges.m.b.H., Gewerbestrasse 30, 2500 Baden, Austria.
office@vadimpex.com · +43‑1‑6417887‑0 - When you visit this site
- Our hosting provider records the usual server log data — IP address, browser type and time of request — which is needed to deliver the page and keep the server secure. We do not combine it with anything else and we do not use it to identify you. Legal basis: legitimate interest, Art 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Cookies and tracking
- This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and contains no advertising or social media trackers. There is nothing here for you to consent to. Our newsletter subscription form is served from this site and contacts Mailchimp only at the moment you submit it.
- When you contact us
- If you write to us, we process your name, email address and whatever you put in your message, for the sole purpose of answering you and, where it leads to business, managing that relationship. Legal basis: Art 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps, otherwise Art 6(1)(f).
- The stock-list newsletter
- Our WTS mailing list is operated for us by Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA). The subscription form sits on our own page and nothing is sent anywhere until you submit it. When you do, the details you entered — your name, email address, company and telephone number — are transmitted to Mailchimp, who process them on our behalf so that we can send you the current selling list, together with basic delivery statistics such as whether a message was opened. Legal basis: your consent, Art 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link at the foot of every mailing, or by writing to us, with no effect on mailings already sent. Because Mailchimp operates from the United States, your details are transferred there under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to business are deleted once they are clearly finished. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Where a business relationship follows, Austrian commercial and tax law requires us to retain those records for seven years.
- Who else sees it
- Our hosting provider, our email provider, and Mailchimp for the newsletter — each acting on our instructions. We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to third parties for their own purposes.
- Your rights
- You may ask us for access to your data, and for correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art 15–21 GDPR). Write to office@vadimpex.com and we will answer within one month.
- Complaints
- You may complain to the Austrian data protection authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at.

If what we collect ever changes — for example if we add a statistics tool — this page is updated first.
